Born from a family's love for local food and farm life
How a simple wish to feed our daughter the freshest food and show her where it comes from became Luxembourg's farm discovery platform.
It started with a simple belief
We're a couple living in Luxembourg who always believed that the best food comes from the people who grow it. Saturday mornings at the market, conversations with farmers about their harvest, tasting a strawberry still warm from the sun. These small moments shaped how we eat and how we live.
We started seeking out local farms, buying directly from producers, choosing seasonal over convenient. It wasn't a trend for us. It was simply how food should be: honest, fresh, and connected to the land.
“The best food comes from people who grow it with love.”
Petting a baby goat for the very first time
Picking apples straight from the tree
Her eyes lighting up seeing a real horse
Pulling a carrot out of the soil herself
Running through sunflower fields in summer
Learning that food is grown with love and care
Then our little one changed everything
When our daughter was born, our love for local food grew into something bigger. We didn't just want to eat well. We wanted her to understand where food comes from. To touch the earth, feed the animals, pick vegetables with her own tiny hands.
We dreamed of weekend mornings at a farm where she could chase chickens, pet a lamb, and taste a carrot pulled straight from the soil. We wanted her to grow up knowing that food isn't just something from a shelf. It's something someone cared for, day after day.
We wanted her first memories to include the smell of hay, the warmth of a farm, and the joy of picking her own strawberries.
But finding it all was frustrating
We posted on social media. We texted friends. We searched through outdated websites and half-empty Facebook pages. The information was scattered, unreliable, and always incomplete.
Asking friends & groups
Every time we wanted to find a farm, we had to ask around
Searching everywhere
Scattered info across Facebook, Google, and outdated websites
Never sure
Is it still open? Do they allow visitors? Do they sell direct?
What if it didn't have to be this hard?
One evening, after yet another dead-end search for a farm where our daughter could feed goats, we looked at each other and said:
“Why isn't there one place where you can find every farm, every product, every experience in Luxembourg?”
That question changed everything. If it didn't exist, we would build it. Not just for us, but for every family in Luxembourg looking for the same thing.

LetzHaff combines “Letz” from Lëtzebuerg (Luxembourg in Luxembourgish) and “Haff” which means farm in Luxembourgish. Because at its heart, this platform is about connecting Luxembourg to its farms.
Built on values that matter
Everything we build starts with these principles
Local First
Every farm, every product, every experience on LetzHaff is rooted in Luxembourg. We believe the best food travels the shortest distance.
Direct Connection
No middlemen. We connect families directly with farmers, so you know exactly where your food comes from and who grew it.
Farm Experiences
Food is just the beginning. Self-harvest, farm visits, animal encounters — we help families create memories that last a lifetime.
Community
LetzHaff isn't just a platform. It's a community of families and farmers who share a love for honest, local food and the land it comes from.
This is just the beginning
LetzHaff started as a family's wish. Today it's growing into something bigger: a place where every family in Luxembourg can discover farms, taste local products, and give their children the gift of knowing where food comes from.
We'd love for you to be part of it.
